Our Goal is to Be the #1 EPS Recycler in Georgia!
EF Block is made from 87% post-consumer expanded polystyrene (EPS) or Styrofoam. Without recycling, this foam packaging material would end up in landfills. As EPS is mostly ICF Raw Material air and non-biodegradable plastic, the buildup of this voluminous material will drastically reduce the lifespan of expensive landfill properties.
You can help reduce landfill space by bringing us your clean Styrofoam (EPS).
Styrofoam is used to protect your appliances, furniture, computers, and other fragile items during shipment. When discarded into the landfill and covered with dirt, it will last for hundreds of years.
Help us help the environment, build Green and donate your EPS. The average 2,000 square foot frame home requires the clear cutting of an acre of forest.
EF Block is Great for the Environment!
Our mini-plant manufacturing model encourages localized production. Which reduces both transportation of raw EPS and shipping of bricks. Resulting in a lower carbon footprint for our products.
During our manufacturing process all scraps, waste material, and excess water is recycled back into our EF Block. When we re-cut EF Block at our plant for our customers, the scraps from the cuts are recycled, so there is no waste! Nothing goes to the landfill. Resourceful manufacturing at its best!
